CBD OIL CBD oil is extracted from the plant Cannabis sativa, which is also known as Industrial hemp. CBD oil extracted from Cannabis sativa is legal to sell as a food supplement, as long as it contains less than 0.2% of a compound called THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). THC is the compound which makes people ?high?, and it is this compound which is restricted. CBD products must, therefore, be able to prove that they contain very low levels of THC Thanks to a great deal of publicity surrounding the potential uses for CBD oil, there is a need for a range of trustworthy, clearly labelled CBD products.
